BIO

DW grew up in St. Paul and developed a love for performing at an early age.  He picked up piano and saxophone (later guitar and drums), earned a theater degree from the U of M, and even spent several years as a Christian rap artist.

In the summer of 2010, he stumbled onto a standup comedy workshop, and the rest is history.  Since then he has performed for church events and fundraisers, and entertained corporate clients such as Pathways to Play, Egroup Design, and 3M.  He was a semi-finalist in the Minnesota's Funniest Comedian contest and competed in the 2013 World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas.

In addition to comedy, DW enjoys playing music and playwriting.  His 10 minute play "Pit of Destruction" was voted "Best of Fest" at the Mankato Short Play Festival.  He lives in the Twin Cities with his wife and daughter (not pictured: either of them).
